Alex Ford

Alex attended Cardwell's Theatre School for 16 years developing and honing her dance techniques over a range of styles including Ballet, Modern, Tap and Theatre Craft. She passed IDTA and RAD examinations for each of these styles culminating in Advance 1 Modern, Tap and Advance 2 Ballet with Honours as well as holding an A* GCSE in Dance. On leaving school Alex was accepted for professional dance training at Phil Winston's Theatreworks. She presently works as a professional dancer and has extended her dance repertoire to include Brazilian Samba.

 

Alex discovered her love of teaching dance to children ats 16 years old when she developed and delivered a programme of dance lessons for a Primary School in Manchester.  Her achievements were recognised by her own school who awarded her with The Christine Lee Jones Award for Community Service .  She has also helped students in their preparation for GCSE Dance performances.  She established Fabulous Feet in 2014 to give her the oppurtunity to impart her love of dance to children.
